Mallards Return to Lanes Cove
We have a flock of Mallard ducks that winter in Lanes Cove. They came in Thanksgiving. I watched them last winter--they stay until spring. You can see them at the shallow end of the cove even while there is ice.

There is a flock of mallards in the pond across the road from Pebble Beach lately. Such pretty birds!!!
