Dreary Weather
May has been a tough month on the Cove, gray and stormy. Most of the lobster boats are in the water, and they have been tending their pots. Discovery Adventures is back with their kayaking business, and I just saw a car go by with a kayak on the roof--a hardier soul than I.
Though there is a certain charm in this weather (watching the whitecaps on Ipswich Bay, snuggling in and to read a book, lingering over the Sunday Boston Globe), there is also the call of spring gardening, of getting the new plants in the ground and warm sunny days after a long winter.
Summer will come, and it will be glorious, but for now I think I'll pour myself another cup of coffee.
