Sunsets Are Back
We site back a bit on Lanes Cove, so during the winter our sunsets are blocked by the small hill to the south. About this time of the year the sun is heading north and finally clears the hill. Right about now the sun sets around Hog Island in Ipswich. Soon it will be at the Crane Estate. Even though the wind is blowning 15-20 MPH and the temperature is 37F, the days are definitely getting longer as we head for spring.

Hi there, I just wanted to drop a note to say "great work!" I'm a transplanted Lanesvillian living in Boston (grew up on the corner of High St. and Young Ave., with my grandparents Ginny and Al Stuart who lived there). I miss Lanesville often, so I'm so thankful and glad that I stumbled upon your little corner of the web here, and I can keep up with all the (non)happenings that go on in our quiet little village. So once again, thanks and keep up the good work! Hyva paivaa!

Hi,
Just discovered your page. The cove must be a great place to live - especially now when mother nature has started to flourish... you rent a cottage or some rooms? Maybe I'll get a chance one day...until then i will certainly tune in on your web cam more often. The photographs are impressive, and in combination with your comments i find myself drifting away into the wonderful and peaceful moods you create. Keep up the nice work.
